Town Beach
- Is a residential(non-commercial) beach for use for the resident of Center Harbor and Moultonborough and their guests
- There is no admittance on the beach is between 10 pm and 6 am May 1st to October 15th
- No smoking or pets are allowed on the town beach
- Feeding of ducks is not allowed. A $10 fine will be assessed
- Beach parking is available in the upper lot behind the own Beach & Lake Street. A beach parking permit or pass must be on any vehicle located in these parking areas. If not, a fine of fine $75 will be assessed
Town Dock
- A Boat Launch attendant will collect a $25 fee for launch of boats and $10 fee for launch of kayaks from non- residents and/or non-Center Harbor taxpayers (kayaks launch next to Canoe House on Center Harbor Inn side)
- Kayaks are are not allowed in the boat launch area
- Following the launching of a boat; Boats have 5 minutes to be tied to the side of the dock immediately adjacent to the launching ramp
- There is a 3 hour limit for docking / A fine of $35 will be assessed if docked for over 3 hours
- There is no docking, mooring, between the hours of 10 pm to 6 am / A fine of $250 will be assessed if docked during these hours
- For safety reasons, bare feet are not allowed on the docks
- Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older
- Pets must be leashed when getting off docks
- No swimming or diving off the docks
- No smoking on the town docks
- There is to be no magnet fishing or metal detecting off the docks
Boat Launch Parking (Lake Street/Dock Road)
- Taxpayers and/or residents of Center Harbor park for free with proof of being a taxpayer and/or resident
- All boat trailers are to park in the grass area, to the right side of the basketball court, on the Center Harbor Inn side and along the access road near the basketball court
- There shall be NO boat trailer parking in the upper lot of the Town Beach parking area from Memorial Day through Labor Day
- Any person who shall violate boat / trailer parking restrictions shall pay a $35 fine, in addition to having their vehicle, trailer or boat towed at the owner’s expense
- NO overnight parking is allowed. A fine of $35 will be assessed if parked after 10 pm or before 6 am
- NO boat trailer parking is allowed on Main Street. or Rte. 25
High Haith Boat Launch
This boat launch is for the use and enjoyment of Center Harbor residents and their guests ONLY.
Parking passes will be required at the High Haith Boat Launch parking area from Memorial Day through Labor Day, the same as the Town Beach on Lake Winnipesaukee. Transfer station decals or resident parking passes will be required during this timeframe. Those who do not have a parking pass shall be fined $75.
