Ball Field

Ball Field

The Ball field is located at 670 Dane Road, at the corner of Rt. 3 and Rt. 25B, and is maintained by the Town of Center Harbor.

Any group wishing to use the field must complete the Facility Request Application and supply a certificate of insurance, made out to the Town of Center Harbor.

All requests can be emailed to parksandrecreation@centerharbornh.gov. Gates are locked during the winter months.

Basketball Courts

Basketball Court

The Center Harbor basketball court is available for use of the general public. Any team/group use must be reserved through the Parks and Recreation Department, requiring a facility use application. The basketball court is located off Rt. 25, near the Town Beach and playground. White lines are painted for the basketball court and blue lines are painted for pickleball.   

Using your own equipment is required. No skateboards, roller blades, bikes or pets are allowed on the court. 

Playground

The Center Harbor Playground is located behind the Town Beach at 24 Lake Street. Playground equipment is intended for young children. Swings are also located up behind the playground.

Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older.

Tennis-Pickleball Courts

Tennis and Pickleball Courts

The tennis and pickleball courts are located next to the Ball field at 670 Dane Road, at the corner of Rt. 25B and Rt. 3. Two tennis courts are available for public use. Pickleball lines are painted at one tennis court, where there are two pickleball courts (one on each side of the tennis net). Time is limited to one half hour for singles play and one hour for doubles play. Portable pickleball nets are available to Center Harbor residents only.

Contact the Parks and Recreation Director to obtain the pickleball nets.  No pets inside the courts please.

Below are the rules for use of the Center Harbor Tennis Courts (Open from 7 am - 9pm):

  • Tennis Shoes or Sneakers Required
  • No Food or Drink Allowed Beyond Gate
  • Play is Limited to One Hour
  • No Wheeled Vehicles Allowed On Court
  • No Mechanical Serving Machines
  • Court Time May Be Limited Without Notice
  • Violators May Lose Court Privilege

Bandstand

Bandstand

The Town of Center Harbor Bandstand is located at 36 Main Street. Free concerts are provided by the Town, July through August.

The Center Harbor Town Band plays concerts every Friday night from early July to mid-August. Guest concerts play thereafter, through the end of August.

Anyone wishing to use the Town Bandstand, must complete a Facility Request Application and provide a certificate of insurance, made out to the Town of Center Harbor.

Beach Pavilion

Pavilion

The Beach Pavilion is located by the Town Beach at 24 Lake Street. For group use, a Facility Request Application must be submitted to the Parks and Recreation Department.  Picnic tables are provided. Please carry your own trash to the dumpster on Lake Street. When the dumpster is not available, trash is carry-in, carry-out. Pets are not allowed. Please, no portable grills. Bathroom facilities are available during the summer season and portables are available through Columbus Day.

Parking permits are required Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Docks

The Center Harbor Town Docks are located just off Rt. 25 at 24 Lake Street on Lake Winnipesaukee. . There are 14 boat slips available for public use.  This property is owned by the Town of Center Harbor. The Town Boat Ramp is located next to the docks. This town owned launch is owned and operated by the Town of Center Harbor. A $25 cash launch fee is required for non-residents. Center Harbor residents can launch for free with proper identification and proof of residency.

All fishing tournaments must submit a Facility Request Application and insurance certificate to the Town of Center Harbor and pay a $25 launch fee per boat.

No overnight docking in permitted / $250 fine. There is a 3-hour limit at the docks / $35 fine

High Haith Boat Launch

High Haith Boat Launch

The High Haith Boat Launch is a simple boat launch located at 315 High Haith Road on Squam Lake. One cement landing is available. This property is owned by the Town of Center Harbor. Parking is very limited (for boat trailers and vehicles) and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Signs are posted for parking. 

This boat launch is only available to Center Harbor residents.  Non-Center Harbor resides will be fined $75 for parking between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Stickers must be permanently affixed to the windshield or proper Center Harbor Permit must be clearly displayed.
